Transferring to / from Chair

Transferring client from floor to bed/chair
Use of Hoist including hammock sling and toileting sling
Use of Other Relevant Equipment

Aim:
To increase knowledge on the theory and practice of safe manual and client handling for inanimate objects and for people. As there are so many injuries related to unsafe handling and so much time spent off work due to this it is one of the most important aspects of any healthcare workers role to ensure they are performing moves at a safe level.
