Aim:
To encourage staff to monitor their own infection control procedures and activities within the work setting highlighting ways in which staff can improve and assist the prevention of spread of infection.
Both residents and staff are at risk from the spread of infection and staff have a duty of care to minimise this spread as far as is reasonably practical. We aim to provide staff with information on sources of infection, control measures and colour coding safe practice.
