Aim:
To increase knowledge on the theory and practice of safe manual and client handling for people. As there are so many injuries related to unsafe handling and so much time spent off work due to this it is one of the most important aspects of any healthcare workers role to ensure they are performing moves at a safe level.
This course includes assessing risk prior to moving and highlight unsafe moves explaining the reasons for these no longer being consider safe.
