Aim:
To assist staff in the prevention of falls and the management of falls. As many falls that occur could be prevented, according to research, we aim to teach staff who is at risk of falls, make risk assessments, improve environments and care appropriately for clients.
Falls cause minor to severe injury, often hospitalisation and sometimes may result in death.
We aim to show staff how to take a strategic approach within homes and in the Community to prevent further falls.
